30 (or so) teens... at the lake...in a smelly room...abe and i worshiping with our brothers and sisters...learning to find our identity in christ together...fall time leaves...no shower...muddy clothes from slaughter...hot chocolate after being cold...lots of laughter --> sounds like paradise to me!

Please be praying for this weekend- that we'd meet and see God in a new and refreshing way. And that we would walk away knowing who we are.

Hmmmm... apart from Harry Potter I thought there was no other stronger addiction- until Abe and I started watching Lost. it really is pathetic. But it SO GOOD. If you've watched, you understand where i'm coming from.

P.s. I love being married. I love being a student. Being married and a student has been kinda hard- well who am i kidding, it's been really hard.

P.s.s... Pray for our schedules- that they will soon even out so then we can feel like real people, with real spirits, not just a couple of robots walking around following a schedule... wow, sound really synical huh? I blame America for my lack of a real life .

p.s.s.s... i think the thing is.... the new traps and subtle temptations that Satan has begun to throw my way, "No, Lisa you need to do some laundry... do the dishes.... start dinner... yada yada yada."  or here's the big one lately, " just go sit on the couch and watch a little tv awhile, you deserve the break" or "because you had a bad day, don't let Abe have a good night, and be crappy, he's your husband- you can let down." But i'm not gonna let Satan get me down- watch out. The Lord has blessed Abe abundantly with patience and grace- to love his wife through all her anger and craziness. I can't imagine life any other way then to have my new companion- it's the most amazing thing.

p.s.s.s.s. new "underground sound" band called obadiah parker- hippie meets jazz meets christian. delicious.
